El Pioneer SM101 es un amplificador de potencia estéreo diseñado para ser utilizado por entusiastas.
Para obtener un factor de distorsión bajo y una potencia uniforme en un amplio rango, se adopta un circuito OCL de servicio complementario puro conectado directamente a todas las etapas.
Se utiliza un par de transistores de potencia de triple difusión con alta resistencia a la ruptura tanto para PNP como para NPN, desarrollados para una alta potencia de salida.
Para estabilizar el potencial CC se utilizan dos amplificadores diferenciales.
Junto con el circuito de compensación de temperatura, se aumenta la estabilidad.
